Armed with inspirational lyrics and world class musicianship, NEWWORLDSON rescues soul music from being a mere genre and returns the art form to its sacred roots.

Individually, each member began his professional career entertaining mainstream music fans in clubs and concert halls around the world. It was in this setting where they learned to be bold in their faith, unapologetically invoking the presence of the Holy Spirit in these most unlikely places.

Starting From Scratch is driven by an intense desire to communicate, through musical presentation, the magnitude, majesty and love of God. They have resolved to share a message of substance flowing from each band member’s personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The band's roots began like-minded people connecting to simply worship God and serve their community. Continuing in the same spirit, the band is looking forward to recording their self titled debut album in the fall of 2008. Their musical influences include (but are not limited too) Skillet, Pillar, David Crowder Band, Chris Tomlin and Hillsong United.
